Feeling adventurous? On a budget? Then you will love Wine-Down Time! Each month we take you to a different region of the world and give you the opportunity to try interesting and unique beers and wines by the glass - for just $5 each.
Whether it’s enjoying belissimo beers from Italy or sampling New Zealand’s famous Sauvignon Blanc’s, Wine-Down Time will always delight and surprise you.
Here’s what’s on offer during Wine-Down Time over the coming months:
| November | Spring Racing brings a touch of glamour to Melbourne so what better way to join in the vibe then with some French bubbles. Enjoy Paul Louis Blanc De Blancs from the Loire Valley or if bubbles are not your style, try a Kronenbourg – France’s national beer. |
| December | To celebrate the festive season we stick closer to home with a selection of Victorian boutique wines and our featured beer is from one of the state’s newest breweries - White Rabbit in Healesville. |
| January | Kick start the new year in a westerly way. Our wines will be from the gorgeous Margaret River region of Western Australia, whilst beer lovers will rejoice in a couple of fine offerings from Fremantle’s Matilda Bay Brewery! |
| February | We round out the summer by showcasing wines from our good neighbours in South Australia whilst the new beer named after Australia’s first ever brewer – John Boston Premium Lager – is on the menu too. |

You have to love Friday’s – the working week is over and it’s time to kick back and relax your way into the weekend. Cocoon Bar offers the ideal way to get your weekend going with cool tunes and our bar team offering hot drink deals to entice you.
Guided Wine Tasting
A great way to discover some cool wines is to get together with a bunch of friends and book a guided wine tasting session. Our wine waiter will take you through tastings of boutique wines from Victoria’s great wine regions, giving you the opportunity to taste 6 different wines – you may even end up finding your own new favourite!
The wine tasting package includes:-
- Individual placemats
- A taste of 3 Victorian white wines
- A taste of 3 Victorian red wines
- A full glass of your favourite wine to finish off
- Delicious bread and dips to share
Cost: $20 per person, minimum 8 persons required to book a wine tasting session.
